The business started when the founder Mike got asked a question while he was living in the Philippines. The local mayor asked him if you had any idea what to do with the thousands of coconut husks that are left over from when the locals made coconut oil. From this question Mike ended up setting up a company that processed these husks to then be sent to China. Mike later on saw that the demand for coconut products across the world was growing and that’s when The Coconut Company began and since that day the company has strong links wit the local coconut farmers and producers to ensure the best products. Not only does the range have some fantastic products, but the company makes sure that the coconuts they use are ‘raw’ or that they go through the minimal processing in order to get them to the products you see here today.
